Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a special summer evening activity for around 60 students from our Orange County campus at the Brea Summer Concert in the Park. This local event is a vibrant celebration featuring live music, delicious food, and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy Southern California’s summer charm.
This experience gave our students a unique opportunity to practice their English outside the classroom while immersing themselves in the local culture. The evening featured a talented local band playing classic hits from R&B, cumbia, and other popular genres that brought everyone together.
Some of our Level 5 students perfectly summed up the night: “It felt like a big picnic — we got to relax, hang out with friends, and enjoy amazing music.” Moments like these are essential for language learning as they encourage social interaction and cultural immersion in a natural and fun way.
