San Pedro Excursion

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The best Labor Day Weekend!

We left the school on Friday morning and went to Point Fermin Park on the cliffs of San Pedro, took photos of the park, the beach, Catalina, and the Point Fermin Lighthouse.

Then we went up the hill to the Korean Friendship Bell. I handed out flyers about the bell. Students took more photos from atop the hill of the bell, the sea, and the harbor.

After that, we went to the Marine Mammal Center where we saw California sea lions and learned about marine mammal rescue, rehab, and how they get injured.

We ended the excursion at the San Pedro Fish Market in the harbor where we ordered fresh fish which was then cooked and served to us on the harborside patio.

Everyone had a great time. They liked taking photos at the bell and on the cliffs, but I think everyone liked seeing all the sea lions and other animals up close the best.
