Language Systems is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET)

Accredited English Language School


Accreditation shows that a school has met and is maintaining a high level of standards set by an accrediting agency. This agency evaluates a school’s programs to ensure that they meet applicable academic standards. Choosing an accredited school means choosing an institution that is considered to be authentic and professional.

Language Systems is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Therefore, Language Systems meets ACCET’s standards for educational and administrative quality. You can find a list of all the accredited institutions on ACCET’s website www.accet.org

Language Systems is a member of EnglishUSA, also known as AAIEP, a recognized association with over 350 quality accredited Intensive English Programs (IEP) in the United States. For a list of accredited EnglishUSA members go to their website www.englishusa.org

Language Systems is also licensed to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) in the state of California. Therefore, Language Systems meets the BPPE’s standards for administrative and educational quality, including the employment of qualified faculty and the establishment of a program that provides quality classes and assesses students’ progress throughout the duration of its program. The Bureau’s website www.bppe.ca.gov has a Directory of Institutions for all approved Institutions in California.

The Academic Director, Program Coordinators, and faculty also subscribe to various professional organizations including, but not limited to, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and California Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (CATESOL)

Language Systems has been a member of the National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (now Association of International Educators) or NAFSA, for nearly 20 years. Language Systems International is committed to the professional development of its faculty and staff and quality programs for international English learners.

Language Systems is an ETS-Authorized TOEFL® iBT and TOEFL® ITP Test Center. In addition, the official TOEIC® test is administered at select Language Systems locations.

Language Systems is registered with EducationUSA’s Higher Education Community. EducationUSA, centers are the U.S. State Department‘s network of over 400 advising centers in 170 countries designed to assist local students find the appropriate college or university in the United States.
