Last Friday, students from Language Systems International – Downtown LA campus went on an exciting adventure with Teacher Carol, who teaches the TOEFL Preparation class. Together, they enjoyed one of the most iconic experiences in Los Angeles: a hike to the Hollywood Sign.
Just a 10-minute drive from our DTLA campus, the Hollywood Sign trail is a must-do activity for anyone visiting or studying in Los Angeles. Students parked at the base of the hill and hiked up the trail, which takes about one to one and a half hours. The weather was perfect—warm but not too hot—creating ideal conditions for walking and enjoying the breathtaking views of the city.
It was a large and lively group, and everyone had a great time taking photos, chatting in English, and admiring one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
Why the Hollywood Sign is So Famous
