Our Placentia campus is located in the heart of Orange County, serving students from Placentia, Fullerton, Anaheim, Brea, Yorba Linda, Orange, and nearby communities.
Just 15 minutes from campus, students can visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, or enjoy Downtown Disney District, which is open to the public and does not require a park ticket. Do I need a Green Card to enroll in English classes at Language Systems in Orange County?

No. California residents do not need a Green Card to enroll. A valid government-issued photo ID is sufficient for registration. Programs are open to immigrants, long-term residents, and community members of all documentation statuses.

What is the difference between studying English on an F-1 visa versus a B-1/B-2 tourist visa?

An F-1 student visa allows full-time enrollment of 18 or more hours per week and authorizes an extended stay for the duration of studies. A B-1/B-2 tourist visa or ESTA allows short-term visits but restricts full-time study. If you wish to study full-time on a tourist visa, you may need to apply for a Change of Status to F-1 first.

Can I change my visa status to F-1 while remaining in the United States?

In many cases, yes. If you hold a B-1/B-2, J-1, or another eligible non-immigrant visa, you may be able to apply for a Change of Status to F-1 without leaving the country. Language Systems International can issue the Form I-20 required to begin this process. Each case is different; individual legal guidance is recommended.

What is Form I-20 and how do I obtain one?

Form I-20 is the Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status, issued by SEVP-certified schools. It is required for F-1 visa applications and Change of Status processes. Contact our Orange County campus to begin your application.

How many English levels does Language Systems International offer?

The ESL program is organized into 7 proficiency levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. Each student is placed in the most appropriate level based on an initial assessment.

Is Language Systems International in Orange County an SEVP-certified school?

Yes. Language Systems International is SEVP-certified, officially authorized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program to enroll international students in F-1 status and to issue Form I-20.
